Ahhhhhh Clean!!

So yesterday I got a bee in my bonnett and decided to clean the house, I mean, really really clean it. I did really good on the living room and bathroom and the kids room. I didn't have time for the rest. Liam and Erin were good helpers. A little too good actually. They helped clean the windows and Liam helped a lot cleaning the bathroom. I decided it will be nice when we have a little more room so our computer can go somewhere else other than the front room and the kids don't all have to share a room. Poor Erin has nothing to play with but guys and swords. Anyway, we washed windows, vacuumed corners and baseboards, washed walls, doors, baseboards, etc. and I feel better about life now. It seems like whenever I am going crazy with life, if I clean, it makes me feel better.

I also decided I'm not a big cook. I really don't like to cook, but I love to bake. Baking is more fun. If anyone has any wonderful ideas about how to get me to want to make dinner each night, let me have them. I am sooo not good at that. We always have SOMETHING, it's just not always prepared ahead of time. I keep telling Cameron that I'm sorry I'm not a better girl. I'm just not very good at the girl stuff. Hair, makeup, decorating, baking, etc. That's not to say I'm any good at boy stuff either, hummm...I guess I should start making it a point of improving in certain areas.

I guess I should go get Erin out of her crib. She has been talking in there for a while. Until the next time.....

This is one year ago this month. My how they grow!!

That (my heading) is all I've heard for the last 20 minutes. Erin has joined in the act. I am being a mean mom. I'm making him put shoes on and a jacket to go outside. You would think I am torturing him. It's going to be a long two days and I just need to vent a little. It was really nice yesterday and we went outside and had a picnic and played a whole lot. It's nice to have spring come every once in a while. Cameron has been sick and lost his voice yesterday. I am just starting it. Boy, we've been sick for quite a while. Owen is getting over it and the other kids are over it too I hope. Cam is getting to the tail end of this semester. He has tests and group projects all over the place. He is meeting with his group tonight and has class tomorrow night, so we won't see him probably until Thursday. It's almost over though, phew! He's been a trooper with all the projects and such. I'm really proud of him for sticking with it. He does a great job. So everyone knows, we will have a little party on May 2 or 3 for him. He doesn't want much, so if you decide not to come that's okay. You do have to come for the big one next year though. That's it for us. Just plugging away...

Random Musings

Yes, I am finally getting the Easter picture on here! Aren't they cute kids? I sure think so!

Boy am I tired!! I have sick kids. (Weren't we just sick?) Erin was up half the night coughing. In fact, she coughed so hard she broke a blood vessel in her eye. Owen is sick too. He has been coughing for about four days. Liam has pretty much escaped the sickness, just a runny nose. I enjoyed conference, what I heard of it. It is harder to listen when you have kids and are trying to keep them occupied. I really enjoyed Elder Ballard's talk on mothers. I really needed that one I think. I also really enjoyed the talk on Prayer. I can't remember who gave that one.

Cameron has been studying studying for tests and more tests. He has another one tomorrow and a 25 page paper he and his group are responsible for due tomorrow too. The group hasn't done anything on it yet. Yes, yes, that is why he LOVES group work. Ha-ha. He is getting excited to walk on May 2. He found out the decision to get into the MAC program has been deferred until after he completes these classes he's in now, pending his grades. We now don't find out until May. Yay for us. So we are destined to stay in this lovely apartment for another little while. Our water has started tasting like dirt. Our filter doesn't filter it out, so we have to drink bottled water for a while. Fun has ensued at the Williamsen house! That's about it from us. We are waiting for warm weather. Come on Spring!!!!
