Reunion

We had a family reunion with my mom's side of the family in June.  Our family was in charge, so we did most of the food, reserved the spot and had activities planned for everyone.  My nephew ordered two big plastic billboard signs and we made them into a water slide.  It was so fun for everyone. A huge hit!  Good thinkin' Dan.  It was fun to see cousins and aunts and uncles.  This was the first reunion without all the aunties.  My Aunt Virginia passed away this year so we were missing one auntie and most of her family.  My family were the ones who had the most there.  We had everyone except my two nephews on missions and my brother and his family in California.

Here's the slide in all it's glory.  Fun huh?

My cute nephews stayed at the top most of the time and sprayed the slide with water.  They also sprayed all the kids off after sliding because they were covered in grass.

That is Erin coming down.  she was fearless.

Liam and Owen both loved it.  They would experiment with going down on knees, stomach, back, feet, etc. They had a blast.

My baby didn't like it quite so much.  This is her going down with my niece.  See how she's clinging on for dear life?  Then they crashed at the bottom. Poor girls.

Reagan loved running around the field and...

Playing in the kiddie pool lots better than the big slide.  Colin didn't like the big slide either, so they hung out in the small pool.

Some of the cousins in a train.  The train was quite popular also.

These are some of my nephews rolling down the hill.  Silly boys.  There was good food, fun minute to win it games, activities for the littles, all sorts of fun times!
